Historical Highspire
The Highspire Historical Society meets the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the Wilson House, 273 Second Street, with the exception that during cold weather months the meetings are held at Don & Judy Miller’s house, 479 Eshelman Street, Highspire (717) 939-0385.
Historical Society Memberships
The Highspire Historical Society is accepting memberships. The dues are $10.00 per person – lifetime memberships and couple memberships are no longer available. Flea Market
SATURDAY, JULY 11, 2026 – “CHRISTMAS IN JULY” FLEA MARKET. IT WILL BE HELD ON THE WILSON HOUSE GROUNDS @ 273 SECOND ST., HIGHSPIRE FROM 8AM – NOON. DONATIONS OF BAKED GOODS TO SELL ARE WELCOME AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE FOR SALE AS WELL, TO SUPPORT THE WILSON HOUSE. RAIN DATE WILL BE THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY, JULY 18TH. THANK-YOU.
The Highspire Historical Society is in need of slightly used housewares, toys, tablecloths, books, ladies clothing, and jewelry. They also accept donations of baked goods. Individual stands are $5.00 per space – bring your own table or blanket – and are held at 273 Second Street, rear from 8:00 am to Noon. Please call 717-566-6828 with any questions.
All Money raised is used for the maintenance of the Wilson House.
